Sunday, November 24, 2002 3:00 AM ESTShe was born in Elyria and was a lifelong resident. She attended Elyria High School.She was a member of St. Peter C.O.G.I.C. boston family vacations . Church, Lorain. She was a former member of Mount Zion M.B.C., where she was a member of the Senior Choir and founder of the Hot Meal program. She served as a foster parent for 14 years for 31 children. She was a very generous person to the community with her food.Survivors include daughters Robin Jackson, Lila Jackson and Wendy Jackson, all of Elyria, and Lucretia Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons Anthony Jackson, Keith Jackson, Robert Jackson, Duncan Jackson of Willingboro, N.J., and D’wayne Jackson of Philadelphia; 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters Ruth Plowden and Nettie Mae Jackson, both of Elyria; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis V. Jackson and Elenora Jackson; son Neil Jackson; brothers the Rev. Ronald Jackson, Harry Jackson, Willie ”Sonny” Jackson and Lean Jackson; and sisters Ester Board and Rita Mason.Friends may call Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m., in Carter Funeral Home, 127 W. Bridge St., Elyria. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in New St. Denver Roofing . Peter C.O.G.I.C., 3301 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev. oven repair atlanta . Edward Jones, pastor, will officiate.
