Bettie Lillard, of Madison, Messrs. Daniel R. and Jacob F.P. Kite, of East Va., and Wm. A. Kite, of Augusta, were at their old home last Thursday to attend the funeral of their father, the late George L. Kite, who would have been 77 years old June 1, 1902. Elder Booton, assisted by Elder Daily, conducted the funeral service. Mr. Kite was buried in the old family grave yard by the side of his first wife.
