Lightner, Beverly Manor Court, Staunton, at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, July 12, after a long illness.Born April 3, 1875, in Page County, she was a daughter of the late George Thomas and Catherine Sours Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Owens, on March 23, 1952.Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. R.G. Lightner, Staunton; Mrs. kaiser insurance . P.H. Childress, Waynesboro, and Mrs. D.S. Whitesell, Stuarts Draft; one son, William Lester Owens; one brother, Edward Jones, Page County; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Kite, Armstrong, Ill.; Mrs. Effie Mauck, Luray, and Mrs. Augusta Cave, Charles Town, W.Va.; five grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Etter Funeral Home by Harvey G.
